IES Texas Solar

IES installed my system in March 2023, and informed Sunlight that the system was good to go, even though Centerpoint had not approved and it needed fixing. IES did not come out to fix the system until 4 months later, in July, but did not inform Sunlight about the system not being approved, and I kept getting charged by Sunlight in the meantime. IES promised to reimburse me 3 months of payments I made while system was not active, but later backtracked on their promise. Bryan Garcia and Brandon Rickett have given me the runaround for months and ignored my calls, texts, voicemails, and emails. The price is cheap, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and they will completely block you out once the system is installed and they get their money. Beware!

IES Texas Solar was, by far, the best company I found to complete my Solar System project. From the first time I spoke with Patrick Baxter about my solar needs to the installation of my new solar panels and the completion of all inspections, I found this company to be highly professional, respectful, friendly, and knowledgable. They appeared to be the only solar company I interviewed that answered all of my solar system questions (and there were A LOT) and provided the best solution to integrate my old system of 39 (300 watt) panels with the new system of 16 (400 watt) panels I wanted in order to provide complete electrical coverage. This coverage is hoped to cover ALL of my monthly electricity needs, which will (eventually) include the use of two all electric vehicles. I never felt pressured by this company to choose them over others and felt completely satisfied with all the answers they gave. I have enjoyed working with them and feel that they will be there for years to come, unlike the original solar company who installed my first set of panels and are NO LONGER in business. I believe IES Texas Solar has the experience, competency, and years of being in business that will outlast many solar companies in the Houston, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas area, which gives me assurance that they will be there for me when I need them in the future. This company is the "real deal!" They are honest and want to do what's best for you and are thorough in their assessment of your solar needs. This is a company that says what they mean and mean what they say. I HIGHLY recommend IES Texas Solar to anyone seriously considering solar for his/her home if you want a solid solar system.

Dan Weier has been great. The panels aren't installed yet but should be installed soon. I'm so looking forward to generating my own electricity! I'll be using 25 Panasonic 330W panels, 25 Enphase IQ7 Microinvertors. My longest delay so far has been replacing the roof. I have a 15 year 2.99% loan.

I chose IES because they checked all the boxes. They weren't too big, too small, priced just above the lowest. I firmly believe you get what you pay for and after watching them install the system, I feel good about it. I am typically a customer server nightmare and demand a lot from the people I speak with, Brandon and team were ready and waiting to answer any of my questions. Would use them again if I should ever want to grow my system.

I feel so good that now we generate our green energy to meet almost 100% of our requirement! Thanks to our LG solar panels!! The installation process was also as good and as efficient as those panels. Thank you IES Residential for professional service, guidance, and cost effectiveness. I would highly recommend them!!! Also, thanks to the energysage where I met the IES.

What can I say, IES Residential went above and beyond what my Family and I expected. We had a horrible experience with a Company out of California, literally trying to rip us off in every way possible. For all the right reasons, the deal never went thru. It was at this point using energysage that we came in Contact with IES. Not only were they the easiest to work with, they had the best quote from day one, I mean all the other installers were trying to play catch up with them. When you deal with IES, you don't get any sugar coated answers, Mr. Ricketts is a straight shooter, and their install team was in and out of our house in under 3 hours. The whole process could not go any better with these guys on your team. Do your own research, using energysage, but I'm pretty sure, you would be hard pressed to find a more fair and fast Installer.
