Sol Power

We took the advice of one of our neighbors to go with Sol Power. We are so happy that we took their advice. Sol Power was extremely efficient all the way from the quote and the picture of what our panel array would look like, to handling the installation. Once they started, it took only 7 days until we were able to turn on our system. They took care of all the paperwork, getting the town to inspect it, and then passed it to RI Energy to install our special meter. Our questions were answered quickly, and we were impressed with everyone who we met and worked with during the entire process! It is true that RI Energy got us the meter faster than normal, so not everyone can expect 7 days, however Sol Power certainly did everything they could on their part. After seeing how organized, efficient, and clean Sol Power is, I bet the SK town inspector and RI Energy have a good amount of trust in their work. This may have helped them look forward to inspecting and passing this installation. All we can say is we are Completely Happy with Sol Power. Now we are happy to see either on our phone or on our computer that we are creating power and saving money.

An excellent experience, all the way through! Everyone at this company is very patient, and they answered whatever questions I asked. They suggested multiple carefully prepared quotes for different kinds of installs, when I asked about alternative options. As for the actual install, they were professional and well-prepared. Install was quick, clean, and informative. No snags at all. Highly recommend.

From our first meeting with Abel, to the install crew, to Kate, Jarad, and Bob at the office who I never met, everyone was clear, kind, and helpful. I found that all the information I needed was offered well before I realized I would have that question. They all seem to be big believers in their product and work. The crew was very nice and very pleasant to have around during the install. There is also great follow through once they complete the physical work. We highly recommend them. As an aside, we hired a local electrician to do some work not related to the solar. We got to chatting and I mentioned we were going to install solar. He asked the company we were using. I told him SolPower and he said they were definitely the company to use in our area. So I guess their rep precedes them.

So many of the OTHER solar companies have very inexperienced sales associates trying to explain rather complex technical and financial plans. Not with Sol Power. Their experience shines through! They provide the important details that allow you to compare with other proposals and clear strategies for navigating the government complexity. It probably helps that their proposals make the most sense financially. Highly recommend.

I started the process of investigating solar last fall and developed a spreadsheet of 5-10 solar company quotes. My initial experience was with national lease-only firms, eventually ending with local purchase-only offerings. I started out completely inexperienced and within 1-2 months, felt very comfortable with my choice of venue = SolPower. Like other reviews, the company is employee owned - the folks you meet up front are the ones installing your panels, running the electric, etc. To me, this was the decision driver for going with SolPower. The process was expertly led by their staff including state grant submission/approval, and the town & RI Energy approvals. Many of the quotes I received from other companies never mentioned a state grant which is a critical component as it is applied up front to the total cost of the system. I also enjoyed being cc'ed on emails to the other approving organizations - a great way to track progress. Early June my system was installed in 1 day and up and running with one tiny issue that was resolved lickity split. I highly recommend SolPower to anyone looking for quality, value, and a way to make a positive impact on our environment. Couldn't be more pleased! Alesia
