New York State Solar Farm

I am very pleased with the system that I had installed from New York State Solar Farm. Installation went smoothly and quickly. Any questions I had were answered. Gabby was very professional and very responsive to my questions. Has not been quite a year yet and so far so good. The only thing is the timing of everything does not go exactly as planned. The town permit, national grid and electrical inspector took longer than expected. Even though some of the time issues are out of there control I think it could be better explained. Definitely allow longer due to these uncontrollable delays. I wish they offered a class/training on the system and understanding you new electrical bill. They do try to answer everything quickly just wish it was all packaged with the system. All in all I am very satisfied. They respond immediately to all my questions and the system is performing as expected.

Gabby at NYSSF is amazing. She came referred to me by a neighbor, but so did another company. The other company originally convinced me to go with them, as they gave us a last minute discount which made their quote a bit cheaper and they were in high-pressure sales mode. As soon as we paid the deposit, it all went down hill. The other company's customer service plummeted, their engineers seemed to have no idea what they were doing and even our town Fire Chief said he dealt with solar companies all the time and the other company seemed completely inept. After months of no movement, we eventually fought with the other company to get our deposit back (they only wanted to give us half) and I went running straight back to Gabby. Gabby and her colleagues took complete care of us, were very low pressure, and even let us know that we would only get a decent return on investment from solar panels on one of our roofs, instead of two, which the other company tried to sell us. They handled all the approvals smoothly and in about half the time of the other guys. We ended up saving money and got better value, all because of Gabby's advice! I have already referred NYSSF to two other neighbors and they all say the same thing. Trust me, I've tried the others, just go with NYSSF from the beginning and save yourself the trouble.

We met with our rep 6 weeks ago and our panels were installed yesterday. We were walked through the process from start to finish and we are pleased with the configuration of our panels. We compared NYSSF with another company and are confident this was the right choice.

Everyone I interacted with at NYSSF was helpful. I chose this company because of their honesty (I had to upgrade some items on my roof and NYSSF was the only company to pick up on this! A friend, who is a contractor, told me it was a good thing they recommended the fixes.) NYSSF kept me appraised at every step of the process. They took care of all the approvals with the Town and the Electric Company. The installation went very smoothly. I highly recommend NYSSF with absolutely no reservations and we are completely satisfied with them.

Fantastic job and made the experience a pleasure

We had an excellent experience with our solar system installation with SunPower and our salesman Jesse Ryan. We tried to use 2 other solar companies before getting a referral to SunPower from our neighbor. Tesla was a nightmare to work with and the other one was much more expensive. We have been beyond happy with our system and the responsiveness of SunPower. .
