Solar's Smart

Mark gets it done! I went on energysage 5 weeks ago and my 14.4kW system has been up and running for 2 days already. Mark was forthcoming with information and gave me plenty of references to check, each one gave him a glowing review, some even went over their experiences with other companies and highlighted how much of a straight shooter Mark is. I contacted him on a Saturday and on Monday he was ready to walk my roof and give me a finalized layout. I took an extra week to sign because I was doing my research and checking other vendors. Once he got the green light things moved blazing fast. We planned together conduit routing and Mark was mindful of all my asks. Plan approval just took a few days, install worked around my schedule, final inspection passed smoothly. He's even monitoring my consumption and giving me tips to improve. Hands down best experience!

I called around to a few places, one of which was the big solar company in San Diego with the initials B.E. With B.E., I got call center people, got bounced around a couple times, finally got a single rep who did the analysis and design, then took three tries to get a quote emailed to me. Pass! With Solar's Smart, I dealt with one person, Mark. He did an excellent job listening to my needs, analyzing my electric history and proposing the system. The contract was clear and Mark was patient to answer any and all questions. I did not use the financing so cannot comment on that. The small installation team personally lead by Mark was professional and personable. The whole job went without a hitch and I was generating electricity with SDGE's permission in a minimal number of days. Btw, I went with the dark panels. They generate a little less energy than the lighter panels, but they work well and look great against my terra cotta roof and mountainous backdrop. We are currently roasting in a heat wave but I am living comfortably with my A/C and, for once, not stressing about what my electric bill is going to be. I'm so happy with my Solar's Smart system!

In September of 2018 we had enough of SDGE price gouging. We decided to go solar and decided to use Solar's Smart since my brother had used the company before. Mark Miller, the owner, came out and helped us to determine the best location and the needed number of panels for our home. What I really appreciated about the whole installation was that Mark kept his word throughout the entire project! There were no surprise extra fees, no sloppy work and no mess left as the job ended. There are many solar company's to choose from but a business that does what they say and stands behind their work is difficult to find!! When a small problem arose Mark was right there ready to take care of it. If you are looking for a company you can rely on use Solar's Smart.

Very fast with on site evaluation, proposal, design, contact with sdge, update design to panel to main and sub per sdge, install, inspection, and PTO and orientation. Project start to end was 6 weeks.
