G C Electric Solar

Last week GC Electric Solar installed a 16 panel solar system, it is up and running and so far I’m happy. It was many months after signing the contract before they could start, very busy. But when the installation day came it went smoothly, they only took 4 1/2 hrs to install. Victor and the crew were great, and he explained a lot of useful things to me. SDG&E authorized the system it’s now working. I chose GC because of their years in business, location, price and their association with Panasonic panels that I wanted to buy.

We used energysage.com to get quotes for solar installation and went with GC electric based on the competitive quote and good reviews. The GC Electric team was organized and efficient in getting our NEM application in. The system was installed last November. The installation went smoothly and the system has been working well since then. We also had our roof redone prior to installation. The roofing company came and took a look after and said the installation and roof looked good. I am happy with my system, and would recommend them to others.

I helped my elderly father work with GC Electric to install solar at his house. We got several quotes from EnergySage and GCE was quite reasonable (though not the cheapest), they had very good ratings, and communication was good so went with them. All installers were backlogged but Sepehr at GCE said they could probably get the system approved before the NEM 2.0 April 2023 deadline though actual installation would be way out in 2024. The install was a few weeks ago and got PTO last week. We got in NEM 2.0, the work went smoothly and the install was clean. The system is working well, the 12 Panasonic panels and Enphase IQ8+'s are hitting max ratings on sunny days (in March!), and Enphase's per panel/inverter monitoring is great. Everything went as planned and we're very happy with the system. Thanks Sepehr and Francis and GC Electric folks!

I am pleased with the service of G.C Electric Solar, Sepehr and his team was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, answering all my questions and concerns about solar energy with clarity and expertise. They guided me through every step of the process, from initial consultation to installation, ensuring I felt confident and informed throughout.

There should be no stars available to describe the service of this company!!! I am at my wits end with them! It's absolutely ridiculous !!! We bought.. bought not leased our system from them! They installed it and life went on! Our inverters have gone out several times, optimizers several times, they say they're coming to replace it, they just show up!!! or call and say were in the neighborhood and can stop by... no appointment!! Who runs a business without making appointments for service that 'we' have to pay them for to do the work! and buy the part!!! Sepehr Nozari tells us they'll be to us in 2-3 weeks!!! 45 days later plus... a guy calls us out the blue saying he can come by! We're headed to a doctors appointment... appointment.. see how that word works.. and cannot turn around to meet him at our home... We schedule for Saturday-he will be out! Great! no one shows up or calls or nothing! I reach out and tell Sepehr Nozari- he says "He told me he called you guys and you told him you would be there within a certain time and that he was at the house waiting for 2 hours and no one showed up. I am not sure why he said Sat and he said he will call you to apologize since he was not working on Sat and he was not authorized to go back. We are booked months out and we can come by within the next 2-3 weeks but we can only come when someone else cancels so last minute situation pretty much. Please leave the units somewhere safe outside so we can get it when we come by in case you are not home thx". First of all, we all know he didn't come by our house and stood around and waited for 2 hours, when he called us.... and said he could be there in 20 minutes! What! His phone didn't work? LIE! Now we have to wait another 2-3 weeks for repairs on a system that is not producing any power!!!  Who runs a business like this! No compensation, no urgency, no customer service, responds days sometimes weeks later! and They'll just come to service us at the last minute! Horrible!!!!
