From the start, I was favorably impressed. Everything throughout occurred precisely on time. The clear, concise yet pleasant welcome and explanations on the phone were excellent. This was followed up by a site visit and further explanations. The answers to questions I had prepared were clear and furthermore were unmotivated by either aggressive salesmanship or subject of any vagueness. The process was once again clearly explained. Then came the presentation of options accompanied by prices which led to further discussions. Their patience with my endless questions was exemplary. Never was there any pushiness on their part. And, not as yet discussed improvements were openly suggested. When all was agreed upon (through a painless process of contract achievement), a team of five showed up at the appointed time, the head of the team took me through the process once again. Were it not for the windy weather, they would have been done in 3 days. The team was polite, discreet, efficient, funny, fun and very patient with my questions. I was happy to offer and share with them my banana bread (my spouse was absent at the time!) The work site was quiet and left clean upon departure. Meanwhile, the office was at work to resolve issues with CMP and openly help with questions and concerns. Overall, a fantastic experience and an installation I was happy to pay for. The relationship was one of symbiosis -- the best possible approach in my mind.

From the moment I met Stefan, who did a complete on site review and estimates, through the permitting process, to the moment Caleb and his crew finished up the install the experience was superb. Professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and I never felt like I was asking a stupid question. Great team of hard working, responsive and friendly folks that I will highly recommend to anyone thinking about a solar array. The President of the company should be proud of the team he has put together.

Our solar panel installation went very smoothly. The crew was great. We were so happy that we also installed a back up solar powered generator. The power went out recently and we didn’t even realize it. Everything worked great.

I "found" Maine Solar Solutions via EnergySage, almost inadvertently. Having already looked into a few companies in my region, I thought why not consider them as well ? I am sure glad I did. EnergySage made the "introduction" then it was all between MSS and me. I was, and continue to be, IMPRESSED with Maine Solar Solutions for every reason a client would be: transparency, technical know-how, complete & total follow through at every level. One of the best things was MSS taking responsibility for every little detail, including all the necessary permits, connecting with the utility company for the net metering setup. The list goes on. Finally, they circle back to the customer any number of times before/during/after to ensure we are completely satisfied with the work. I found pricing differences among the various companies was not really huge. Considering the amazing "value added" the Maine Solar Solutions provided, I can honestly say they are THE BEST company in their category I have encountered.

The people at Maine Solar Solutions are very easy top work with and, most importantly, they deliver what they promise. I have had a very hassle-free experience and am very impressed with the workmanship and thoroughness of the company.
