Soy-Based Foam Insulation, Sunlight Tubes, Solar Hot Air, Water Savings and Rain Garden. The Weir River Watershed Association renovated a carpenter’s workshop as a model green building to create the Weir River Estuary Center at 333 George Washington Boulevard in Hull. Volunteers and signs help you understand its sustainable features, which include three different makes of solar hot air panels, Velux daylight tubes (I’ve watched people look for their light switch :), Water Wise Technologies water-saving bathroom fixtures, insulated designer window treatments, soy-based foam insulation, sustainable building materials, and a rain garden to filter pavement runoff.
