Doing onsite shading analysis is critical for a well designed system. In this installation, many companies turned Stefan down without even visiting him to see how Solar might work for him. 8MSolar treats shading differently. We take great measures to ensure our estimates are accurate and represent true real world production numbers. 1. Our first step is to generate a detailed Helioscope model. We model the exact property characteristics, including roof height, pitch azimuth, array orientation, quantity of solar panels, type of solar panels and types of inverters (power optimizers or microinverters). 2. Every roof surface that has solar panels is then visited in person and we perform a detailed solar pathfinder analysis. The results of both these tests are then verified against each other and a final design generated that ensures accurate real world production data.
