What You Need to Know
Description:
ground mount
My Motivation:
The high electric bills for a house built in 1985
Advice:
If you have the space, do the ground mount system. Each panel will be positioned to the south at the most effective angle to the sun and clear of shade from trees. Repairs will be easy, roof not damaged with mounts and cleaning simple also.
Experience with Installer:
Palmetto State Solars people were excellent and the system passed the county's inspection without a hitch.
Additional Notes:
The electric meter for our home is attached to the ground transformer and not on the house as most people's are. We had to trench to the meter from the solar array.
