What You Need to Know
Description:
25-Panel System without battery. Not included in the cost was a decision to replace our existing 15-year old roof with a standing seam metal roof before we had the panels installed thinking that if we get maximum life out of the panels, we don't want to have to remove them to replace an aging roof.
My Motivation:
Using less electricity from our electric company to reduce our carbon impact on the planet. By driving our electric car and charging it with solar power we are consuming no oil or coal in the process.
Experience with Installer:
Installation of panels only took a few days once supply came in. It took our electric company two weeks to replace our meter to allow us to turn the system on and start saving.
