NRG, now Clearway solar does not save me money. I have to pay every month and they won't let me cancel my contract. Should be illegal! Don't do it!
This is possibly the worse company I have ever dealt with. You cannot cancel your account according to Clearway. I have been trying to cancel my account for approximately a year. They have put me on their cancellation list which means nothing. I am getting a lawyer and also talking to my state attorney general to ask for assistance in cancelling my contract. Do not deal with this company.
If you want to cancel your account, forget about it. Clearway recent bought NRG solar (also an awful company) and I was hopeful they would treat their customers better. I was wrong. They are worse. Their "support" phone line always goes to voicemail. I've left messages, no one calls back. The only people that do call are the ones looking for my money, but I refuse to pay my balance until they have cancelled and closed my account. I was told in June of 2017 that my account would be closed. Here we are in 2019 and they still haven't done a thing with it, giving me BS answers that they "need to find someone to take over my account." Um, no, just turn it off like any electricity company! They have no concern about their customers at all. Do not trust any of these community solar people!
