OnSwitch was formed by a leadership team who worked side by side over the past 17 years at commercial solar energy pioneer PowerLight, SunPower, and Hanwha Q Cells, developing and building well over $1 Billion of rooftop, ground-mount, and carport commercial solar energy projects for hundreds of businesses, public agencies and non-profits across the U.S., including Target, Lowes, Hewlett-Packard, City of San Francisco, Toyota, U.S. Navy, Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, Apple, and the like.

This leadership team formed OnSwitch to focus that experience on providing customers with the easiest and most economical on-site energy systems available while maintaining the highest quality and performance. Today, OnSwitch customers –- like Pepsi, Damco, National Core, Pamco, First Community, Promise Energy, Permacity, SDIHF, and others -- can take comfort that OnSwitch principals have developed and installed more commercial solar projects than anyone in the world.

HOW ONSWITCH WORKS FOR YOU:

For customers who want to purchase and own an on-site energy system, OnSwitch will facilitate their contracting directly with one of our Certified OnSwitch Installers. After the system is installed and operating, the customer will be trained in just a couple hours to do the operations & maintenance of the system. Optionally, OnSwitch can facilitate the customer contracting with the Installer or other a nearby company to do operations & maintenance.

For customer who prefer to sign-up for energy service (no capital outlay; simply monthly payment of the solar electricity or energy storage as it is used), OnSwitch will facilitate their contracting directly with the solar electricity service company. In that case, the energy service company is responsible for installing and maintaining the energy system.

During the financing, installation and operation of the energy system, OnSwitch’s role is to ensure customers are fully satisfied. OnSwitch provides project management oversight of the installer and of any financing company to maintain a high level of communication and responsiveness to the customer’s needs.

OnSwitch’s leadership team is believed to be the most experienced in the world in that they average 14 years each in solar energy or energy storage.

Having all worked together at global energy leader SunPower Corporation, the OnSwitch leadership team is not only a very experienced team but also a tight, operational team enabling them to deliver to customers what they say they will do.
