Altenergy made installation of a solar system absolutely seamless. There was excellent coordination and communication with the branch manager and the installation team was great to work with. Can’t think of a single thing that did not go well and as planned.

Alt Energy did an install on my house that will offset about 90% of my energy usage. I spoke with several other companies (four total) and they came in the lowest in terms of price and as well they were willing to find a panel design that was an acceptable aesthetic for me. They put together a quote that included the break even date and return on investment, etc. They seemed to be quite thorough with the installation work. The only downside was that installation time drifted by a couple of weeks, though this might be expected given the custom nature of such installation. Overall - now about 3 weeks into having solar - I'm quite happy with them as a provider!

AltEnergy folks were knowledgeable and responsive. They provided options based on structure design, anticipated power needs, and budget. AltEnergy was the best outfit, we could find, in the Staunton area, but stand-alone (off-grid) solar set-up is not inexpensive, so rating value is difficult to judge. Tax credit(s) soften the blow, somewhat.
We are very happy with the work & product AltEnergy put into our cabin.
