What You Need to Know
Description:
Solar domestic hot water -Nearly 100% on site electric generation -blown in Cellulose & Air Sealing in the attic after extensive energy audit -Gas back up Solar hot water system with dehumidification loop -Window-quilt insulating window treatments The house is a fairly standard colonial that happened to have a great south facing roof in the back. We moved in and wanted to use that roof. First we added the PV array, then a Solar Domestic Hot water and when rebate levels increased a 2nd string of PV. The savings have been beyond predicted values and there have been no maintenance issues.
