Hybrid hot water heater extracts heat from the air and uses it to heat our hot water. I love that it cost us very little, but saves us a lot and that it is a smart machine, so it can be set on vacation mode, for example, to save energy.

- Additional Financial Notes:
- With the rebate, this installation was a real no-brainer. Since I have a sump pump in my basement, it was easy to connect the drain. If you do not have easy access to a drain, you may have to pay some more for a pump. Also, the machine is a bit noisy (fan noise), so if it is not located in the basement you may want to consider this fact. I used Lowes for the install as local providers quoted 2x the fixed amount offered by Lowes. They did a great job, very professional!
