Description:
Our partner company, RER Energy Group designed and installed a 205 kW photovoltaic (PV) roof-mount system that ultimately met nearly all of the facility’s energy needs. The observed performance ratio of the system is 101% over 21 months and is considered “first in class” by today’s industry standards.
Other Benefits:
They Aerrzen solar array is one of our earliest Sunvestment Group Community Sourced Solar Funding (CSSF) examples. In this project, the employees will have the ability to invest in their company's solar array and get a return on their investment. This is just one of the unique features of a Sunvestment CPAA.
Efficiency or Sustainability Improvements:
The Aerzen USA building, located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, was designed for sustainability, earning the distinction of being the first manufacturing facility to be awarded LEED Gold certification.
My Motivation:
“We’re very happy with the RER system,” says Aerzen’s President, Pierre Noack. “We are meeting our goals for electrical production, and it enables us to have the smallest environmental footprint possible. RER listened to our needs, they were creative in trying to find a solution to fit those needs, and they came up with a solution that had a design concept in alignment with our way of thinking.”
