Advancing solar adoption one community at a time

Sustainable Jersey Certified Sustainable Jersey Solar Challenge

The Sustainable Jersey Solar Challenge

The Sustainable Jersey Solar Challenge is a competition between member communities to advance solar adoption through local outreach efforts.

The Challenge leverages the EnergySage Solar Marketplace, an online solar research and shopping platform, that was developed with the funding and support of the US Department of Energy. EnergySage helps residents to quickly gather competitive solar quotes from high quality solar providers and presents these quotes online for easy review and comparison.
By creating competition between communities, the program helps to motivate cities and towns to get creative about how they promote the program locally. EnergySage offers a host of solar marketing resources so that even communities without staff or volunteers knowledgeable about solar or even about marketing can generate tremendous participation and impact.
