Solar States

I interviewed with about 7 different Solar Suppliers before landing on Solar States. They were one of the best priced while having responsible business practices and years of experience. They did not outsource any of their labor any working with them the entire time was easy with constant communication from initial interviews to installers. Would gladly use them again and I recommend them to everyone.

The quote and pre-planning process was straightforward, the installation was efficient, the communication continues to be excellent, and the solar panels have been running flawlessly for nearly 4 years so far. I wholeheartedly recommend Solar States to anyone considering going solar in the region.

Solar States did a great install of our rooftop solar panels. But going solar is more than just the install. There is the planning and design, local permits, and working with PECO. Solar States was there every step of the way to complete the next step and to keep us informed and answer all of our questions. Everyone we interacted with was personable and knowledgeable. And when the install day did come around the crew were a bunch of rock stars and did a fantastic install! We're looking forward to many years of clean energy and now feel like we're part of the Solar States family and we know they'll be there for us down the road if we ever need any maintenance.

5+ Stars. Excellent all around experience. Solar States is local to the Philadelphia area. A big plus. The pre-purchase one-on-one customer service and information given was much more accessible and clearer than with national solar companies that were contacted. All permits and permissions were handled by Solar States. They know the surrounding area. Installation was quick and professional. The electrical inspector who came out to approve the work was very impressed at the quality of the hookup. There was a little glitch with the wifi monitoring system that basically came down to hard wiring to the router via a lan/ethernet cable which had not been foreseen. It was resolved at no added expense and had absolutely no effect on the efficiency of the solar system which has operated as expected or even better since day one, two years ago. The wifi monitoring itself is a huge plus. It allows me to view the system's production and of the home's energy use over time and in live time. Highly recommended.
