Inept, Incompetent and Frustrating as Hell

Avoid this place like the plague. Matadors Credit Union is the worst. They always make things more difficult than they need to be. I came in with the business license paperwork from the city of L.A., because I wanted to make sure they had my name right on my business checking account. Not only did they have the name incorrect but they refused to change it, citing that they needed to see the original dba paperwork, which I had to show them when I opened the account. So, rather than admit their mistake, in order to get this changed, I have to make a special trip (a 16 mile drive) just to bring them the original paperwork. They won't allow me to fax them or email them a copy. If I was a new customer, I would think, okay, just another hoop to jump through but I've been with them for over 5 years. Definitely, closing my account as soon as this gets straightened out. This is bs and a total waste of my time, energy and gas. Avoid this place unless you like constantly dealing with headaches, disrespect and lies from your financial institution.

Excellent company for my solar loan

I am very thankful that financing companies like Matador Community Credit Union are there as an option for people like me. Otherwise, I might have ended up going into a loan through MPower that would have charged me 6% at 20 years. Yikes! Through Matador, I was able to get a 2.99% rate at 12 years! I'm sure that there might be other options out there but this worked for me so I am thankful for them.
