Longer process then I thought it was going to be, but totally worth it.

What You Need to Know

Maintenance Requirements:

clearing off snow if you want the highest production

My Motivation:

to get off a energy system that uses coal

Advice:

it will take longer then you think because of ordering the system and getting approval from the utility. If you are using DTE in Michigan they kind of screwed us in 2019 with not giving 1:1 net metering. it might be better to get a battery depending on your needs.

Experience with Installer:

Strawberry Solar was great they were responsive and I got to know all the guys on the job. They have solved any issue that came up.
