My Motivation:
to get off a energy system that uses coal
Advice:
it will take longer then you think because of ordering the system and getting approval from the utility. If you are using DTE in Michigan they kind of screwed us in 2019 with not giving 1:1 net metering. it might be better to get a battery depending on your needs.
