Strawberry Solar

Strawberry Solar did a great job on our solar + battery project. We found them through the Energy Sage dashboard. They completed the initial install ahead of schedule and worked with us and the utility on ironing out the paperwork to get us all squared away. We are very happy with the whole Strawberry Solar team!

We had a great experience using Strawberry Solar for a relatively small residential installation. The initial consultation (with Ollie) was really thorough and not pushy or car salesman-like as we had seen from other companies. The price was very competitive. A subcontractor made a minor error during installation but Strawberry responded immediately and resolved it quickly. They were responsive and clear at all stages of the process. After almost a year, the system is exceeding the estimated output. We would definitely use them again.

We didn’t know where to start with getting a solar system installed. Then we were recommended energy sage which led us to strawberry solar, being the company we decided to go with. With strawberry, there was no pressure, just a clear plan of what we would get. After signing, they took care of everything, all the approvals before and after, the plans etc. Installed in a day. And it works great, just as planned. They spec’s it spot on for what we needed.

Strawberry Solar installed our panels and batteries with excellent care and diligence. We were new to this technology and had to learn step by step and Strawberry solar was patient with us and helped us to understand how things work. The installation was outstanding and professional and with our floorplan not easy they send the best electrician to figure out our individual floor plan - thank you for that ;) Overall - after a year of experience - we would do it again - no doubt - - maybe look into different batteries - as we are learning more what is right for us - but that is the fun never stand still ;) thank you Andrea and Howard

Closing in on 70 years old, but pleased with Strawberry Solar's estimate and work almost two years ago. They were not the lowest bid, but their knowledge and attention to detail sealed the deal. The highs were quick permitting with DTE, careful installation by a licensed electrician, quality panels, and a business based in Detroit. Our bids came through Energy Sage, and Peter House helped me sort through them. We chose Strawberry because I thought they had the best chance of thriving in the future as a business, and backing up a 25-year warranty. The low was I didn't realize all the conduit and electrical boxes would be installed on the outside walls of the house. A little ugly, but we are used to it now. System is producing more power than we use on an annual basis.

It was a great experience. They looked at our energy needs and said we needed fewer panels than another company recommended (We can always add more if needed). The installation went well. Punctual, easy to work with. All went as promised. I'm happy to recommend them.
