15 Lightyears went above and beyond!!

15 Lightyears went WAAAY above and beyond in my 62 panel solar install. I was very pleased with their work on the system and they also helped me diagnose some significant AC issues I was having and spent many hours doing so, simply out of goodwill for my large solar installation. This is an EXCELLENT company! Many thanks to Tim for his extra work!

Solar review 15 Lightyears

We had a great experience with 15 Lightyears. The Installers were on time every day and they worked non stop for several days to get our system installed. We did have some issues with the system reporting to Enphase but that has all been worked out and our system with Enphase Battery Backup works smoothly. Within seconds of a power failure the system switches to battery which is enough for us to run the kitchen, our refrigerators and freezer and one of our HVAC units. We are happy with our investment and we highly recommend 15 Lightyears.

Great Local Company

I installed solar through a co-op and was on the committee which selected the installer. 15 Lightyears put together the best proposal as far as quality panels at an excellent price point and were selected as the installer for the co-op. 15 Lightyears took the time to explain the custom array they planned for my home, its performance, expected ROÍ, steps required in the process, permits and payments. Installation was done in a day. We’ve had the system for over four years and have had no issues. We enjoy having 90% of our electrical bill offset and should realize our initial investment in 2026. Additionally, we had a hail storm that damaged the roof (no damage to the panels!) and had to get a new roof. 15 Lightyears was responsive in providing cost estimates for the uninstall reinstall for the insurance claim. The panels were taken down in one day and reinstalled in one day after the roof was re done. Overall, a great company to work with that is responsive, economical and professional.

We had our pv system designed and installed by 15 lightyears and have been incredibly satisfied with the finished product. We ran into a few issues during contracting and permitting, but the team worked to resolve all issues and ensure that we were satisfied.

Small solar array but big results

We purchased our solar electric through a co-op that selected 15 Lightyears. Although we had space for 40 panels, we chose a southern exposure with 14 panels to hide it from the neighbors. The installation team worked around our existing solar hot water and pool solar. Excellent work with the panels and squirrel guards. Our payback is less than 7 years. A great investment with an excellent company.
