Rooftop Power

I had my solar array installed Nov 2025 and I chose Rooftop Solar because they seemed very professional and had good pricing. I am very glad I went with Rooftop. Their communication was excellent throughout the whole process. They replaced my old roof before they installed the solar array and it all looks great and works perfectly. Darrell and his team are really nice to work with. I highly recommend them!

TLDR: Hire Rooftop Power. Ethical team led by Darrell Handley stands by the product. Configure and troubleshooted with OEMs for special configuration to tie-in with existing generator. Integrated roofing, solar, and electrical professionals mean they stand as one entity to deliver goods and services. System produced 97% of what was proposed during the first ten months of use. This review is written one year after beginning the solar process and 10 months after installation of a new roof and a 32-panel solar system. This team was impressive from intake through assessment of my home, upfront about options and what did and did not make sense. Use of drone technology and modeling software was impressive. I’m happy the system is producing almost exactly what RTP projected during the ten months it has been commissioned. Like many in Rhode Island, I had trouble with the meters and getting the correct configuration. RTP stepped-up to assess my system inputs and monitoring tools after installation to help me manage getting resolution from RI Energy. Their team handled enrollment with RI Energy and the regional group that sells clean energy credits (and I got a check from them which is an extra bonus!). I feel they are ethical and honest. The price was fair, and they were very professional and above board. Darrell, the manager handling my project, is diligent, knowledgeable, and responsive. All of the people from the roofers banging nails to the installers, electricians, and managers and analysts are top-notch. It’s difficult to imagine having a better experience making a big purchase like this.

We worked with Bryan Cormier at Energy Sage and selected Rooftop Power, who did an outstanding installation at our home. Their team, led by Darrell Handley, was professional in all respects and communicated exceptionally well throughout the entire process. A solar installation is complicated, and invariably there are small bumps in the road, but the Rooftop Power team was always there to smooth these out and stand behind their work. They are a local company and self-perform all aspects of their work, which were important differentiators for me. I am so happy we chose Rooftop Power. Their follow up has been very good post installation, which is much appreciated.

Our experience so far with Rooftop Power has been beyond simple and efficient and every single person has been kind and helpful. It took us a long time to finally decide to do Solar, researched a lot with the help of EnergySage, and are so glad to have chosen a local company. From pulling permits to scheduling install and our soon-to-happen final inspection, we have just sat back while RTP took care of it all.
