I had my solar panels installed in December 2022, and as of today (July 16, 2023) I still have not been able to use them. The project manager assigned to me has been entirely unhelpful (unresponsive or gives me the runaround) and even when I reached a “manager” they said they’d look into the delay and never called me back. Be ready to pay top dollar for subpar service. The delay isn’t on SDGEs part, but Current Home being unwilling to schedule a county inspection.

Hello neighbors, If Current Home Solar had nicknames for their clients like I do my neighbors I would have known me as the critter guard client. I’m here to write a 5 star review for Current Home Solar, their staff, and the quality panels they provide. If you want to save yourself the time and hours of research I spent getting it right they are your go to. My journey started with Jacob who shared his excellent knowledge and answered all my questions then returned without hesitation to speak with my husband and I to answer all his questions and put his skeptical mind at ease. My nickname began here with Jacob, as he phoned the office to find out the cost for me. Apparently others weren’t as concerned as I was about nesting birds. I was adamant about wanting them. We wanted as many panels as would fit on the garage, done. My husband wanted some of the wiring run through the attic, done. I wanted critter guards, done. I wanted a hassle free professional company doing the work, done. Jacob sat on the phone with me while I painstakingly read every page of the contract before signing. Papers were signed on June 10, 2022. The next step was that a project manager was assigned to oversee my installation. Although, I expected one person I had a couple lovely ladies by the names of Sierra, and Heaven. This didn’t bother me in the least as my questions, fears, and concerns were always answered in a way that was informative, detailed, professional, and most of all made sense. In no way was I ever made to feel silly, bothersome, or annoying for asking questions. In a short period of time layouts were completed and approved, roof and attic inspection was scheduled and done, permits were pulled, installation was scheduled and done (on our timeline as my husband wanted to be home) and completed by yet another very professional young man by the name of Josh (I think) and his team. Before long the oh so business minded city inspector arrived to meet Ronald, Current Home Representative who arrived early to put some final touches on things and to make sure all was in order. Again, everything went according to plan. Papers were signed and the final step was Southern California Edison notifying me that they are aware of my solar status. On July 27, we were up and running. If anyone is curious as to what I was researching my concerns were: A professional company that had little or no complaints against them; quality parts and materials; employed installers, not third party installers; work that was done in a timely manner, without excuses (we had none); positive reviews and recommendations; a competitive price; a company that wasn’t interested in providing me with an excessive number of panels so they could make more money; a good warranty; no prepayment penalty; an assurance that panels will transfer with the house if we choose to sell, etc. Everything about them was 5 stars! My only regret is taking so long to post this favorable review.

Friend was going through the spell and I went out there and oh my God the representative was signing his name without even showing or asking or getting permission or letting the owner themselves sign that is illegal

They were wonderful to work with… They took the time to answer all of our questions during each step of the process. Our solar panels look great! Lots of compliments and inquiries from the neighbors. Definitely recommend! Thank you so much!

Current Home was absolutely easy to work with, and everything flowed very smooth. The communications were good throughout the process. I’ve recommended two friends to Current Home based on my experience.

Current Home installed solar for me and it was a really good experience, especially during quarantine. The pricing plan was solid - saved money the first month. They took care of the HOA, permitting. Install took 1 day. The entire process was easy! Highly recommend! - Jeff M.
