My 94 year old father is hard of hearing and lives alone. A solar salesman came to my dad's house to sell a solar system and my dad told him he was not interested. Dad like Shyheim Smith and let him into the house 3 more times and told him he was not interested each time. On February 19th the salesman picked up dad's phone looking for an email address and to input his contact information without my dad asking. It was then that Shy downloaded a solar contract and doc-u-signed it on dad's phone without telling my dad. A few weeks later dad heard a racket on the roof and was surprised to see solar panels being installed. He did not know what to do but since Shy told him it was only going to cost him $99/ month he could handle that. I soon found out about it and asked to have the contract emailed to me by Our World Energy. My dad was very upset to see that the $99/month goes every year and that he was obligated to a 25 year loan at 94 years old. Shy never told him about a lease to own and never showed him a contract. Dad sent a written cancellation order but since it was past the 10 days since the contract was signed and the solar panels were already up OWE could do nothing. I reported to the BBB, AG's office, Mesa police, Adult protective services and have been told this is a civil matter and need to get a lawyer involved. This could cost as much as the solar panels. The solar industry is hurting but that should not give them the right to force elderly people to buy their solar panels. My dad will not live long enough to see a benefit. If dad paid cash for the solar panels it would take 8-10 years to break even if they provided the needed electricity. SRP has a higher rate for people with solar power that need to buy additional electricity. Last month my dad's electric bill was $103. If the solar panels were hooked up he would have saved $4.

Mark Anthony, and his whole team were great to work with. They installed my solar panels in amazing time, they informed me how they were going to install the solar panels on my roof. After they were installed they showed me how to turn the solar panels on and off when it was time to turn them on. They also sent me instructions on how to turn them on.
