Freedom Energy Systems, a former distributor of Geothermal heat pumps, was founded in 2004 by Thaddeus Szkoda, a family man, professional engineer and builder. It evolved around a desire to provide the best things in life for a big family yet stay within his means and budget. So he built a big, beautiful house designed to minimize the costs of installation and operation. By studying and obeying the laws of nature he discovered that the best things in life were truly free… like the energy pulled from the ground for heating and cooling or pulled from sunny skies for most electrical needs.

Persisting through a tough economy, Freedom Energy Systems was reorganized in 2013 to help individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations lower operating costs and increase cash flow using the best of free enterprise… people of diverse backgrounds working towards each others interest as well as their own good. Funny how working towards mutual good makes friends even out of enemies!
