Comedy of errors

I don't know how these guys still have a 4.0 rating?! I guess it doesn't matter since they're out of business now. They promised installation in three months, and full system operation in six months. It actually took six months before they started installation and a full year before the system was placed into operation. I had them install a Tesla Powerwall and asked for whole-house backup (no sub-panel). A couple of months after the system had been placed into operation the grid went down and we lost power to everything! I called their emergency support (it was the weekend), left a message, and someone called be back within the hour to say they'd have someone call me on Monday. Of course, no call on Monday and no response to the voicemail I left on Tuesday. Wednesday I reached out via social media; still no response. Finally I went to their local office at 7 AM and waited for someone to show up. He acted surprised I was having trouble contacting them, but then said they were having some phone system issues. Their "Tesla expert" wasn't local, but he'd be in the area in the next week. The Tesla expert showed up the next week and said the battery wasn't even hooked up to the house—only to the solar panels! They then shut the system down for three months while they worked on scheduling someone to come out and correctly install the system. Eventually they said they couldn't configure a single Powerwall for whole-house backup (too much potential load), but they could install a sub panel in another month or so. Frustrated, I reached out to another solar company (Simple Power) and agreed to buy a Span and have them install it plus correctly hook up the Powerwall. In less than a month they'd completed the work and correctly connected the Powerwall to provide backup power when the grid goes down. About a month after that, a crew from Titan showed-up unannounced, ready to install a sub panel. I turned them away and let them know we no longer needed their sub panel. About three weeks later yet another Titan crew showed up to install a sub panel and I turned them away as well.

Bait and switch, no communication

We settled on Titan after much reviewing on energysage. On the energysage quote, they had quoted a microinverter system. When we received the actual quote and design, it was SolarEdge inverter system for the same price. After questioning this, I was told they were just as good but we could switch to micro inverters for $2.00 per w more. I let it stand as SolarEdge. What a mistake. I didn’t know at the time that the SolarEdge inverters have a 60% failure rate. After having our system 1 year and 3 months, the inverter failed. It took many communication attempts to get Titan to respond, then another two weeks to get a replacement inverter delivered. Then Titan says they can’t replace it for two months. They got SolarEdge to replace it who contracted it out to someone else. 24 days without power production. I can hardly wait until it fails again next year and go through the same thing again. Go with emphase micro inverters because SolarEdge inverters are unreliable.

WORST COMPANY EVER

In 2021, Titan Solar Power installed solar panels on my house located at 4735 Lombardy Fire Trail, Katy, Texas. Project # TSP94905. Although the installation was completed, the activation of the panels experienced significant delays that affected me financially, as I was already paying both the financier for the panels and the previous electricity provider. Unfortunately, on June 19, 2024, after heavy rains, a leak started in the roof right where the solar panels are installed. I tried to contact Titan Solar Power's service and maintenance department, only to find out that the company has closed down, leaving me and many others in a situation of damage and helplessness. What actions can we take now? Who can we turn to defend our rights?"

Are the worst

The panels have only been installed for 2 years and have not been working properly for almost 4 months. I have called many times to get them to resolve the problem and they have not sent anyone.

Service is Terrible

Multiple service calls within the last year (first year after installation) regarding a panel that is underproducing. First call, took 3-4 months to when they finally replaced the panel. That lasted 2 months and now the same panel (out of 30) is underproducing again. Started another service call at end April. Today is June and they have supposedly sent the optimizer to the wrong address in May but then on the next call they are waiting for their subcontractor to reply to the order. I have called every other day to get a status update because they never call you back like they say, there is no email or text communication about the service order. They keep saying they are waiting on the subcontractor. Titan Solar is trash and their subcontractors that installed the system and do service repairs are incompetent. Do not use these people. Find someone else if you can in CO.

Horrible service

This is one of the worse companies, don't do business with them. Stay away they don't answer and don't solve any issues. Don't buy from them.
