Patriot Solar Group

PSG filed for chapter7 bankruptcy in March 2019. A few weeks later, they started a new solar company “Solar Mounts LLC”. Let’s hope future customers and vendors don’t get hurt by bounced checks and failed PV projects.

We hired Patriot Solar Group to install the racking at a job in Romulus Michigan. The job went okay but, they never paid SunBelt Rentals for a skid-steer and our customer was hit with a notice of lien. After numerous attempts to talk with Jeff Mathie, the owner, and never receiving a return call, email or text, we ended up having to pay their invoice to remove the lien from our customer. We should have known better then to hire them after many issues in the past, but they had recently hired a new salesperson we had worked with many times through the years when he was with AET Racking. He had guaranteed us he would take care of us.
