NATiVE Solar is a trusted solar company in Texas with deep roots in sustainable building and renewable energy. Our journey began in 2007 in the Texas Hill Country, when we launched as Hill Country EcoBuilders (HCEB). Our mission was bold: design and build affordable, zero-energy custom homes that harnessed solar, rainwater harvesting, and even wind power.
As demand for clean energy grew and solar contractors remained scarce, we spun off Hill Country EcoPower in 2009. This new venture focused exclusively on integrating renewable energy systems for homeowners and businesses across Texas.
In 2012, the two companies merged to form NATiVE, a unified brand dedicated to building smarter, more sustainable futures. With our combined expertise in both construction and solar, we quickly became a leading solar installer across the state.
In 2018, our construction division became Build NATiVE, continuing to offer custom green homebuilding throughout Central Texas. Meanwhile, the solar side of the business expanded significantly—adding top talent from across the industry to form today’s NATiVE Solar.
Our solar team brings decades of combined experience, with more than 1,000 solar projects and over 60 MW of installed capacity in Texas and beyond. That deep expertise shows in every project we take on.
