NATiVE Solar has designed and built solar and battery energy systems in Texas since 2007 — more than 1,100 projects and 60+ MW installed. We're a full in-house EPC: engineering, procurement, and construction handled by our own team, with no subcontractors and no handoffs. We started as custom homebuilders, which is why our systems are designed around the building rather than dropped onto it. Most of our work today comes from referrals and from property owners who need someone to take over a system another company walked away from.

Yes. We regularly take over systems from other installers, including companies no longer in business. We inspect first — electrical, structural, code — then give written options. Our crews are full-time employees, not subcontractors.
One of the most common reasons people call us. We've taken over many orphaned solar and battery systems across Texas. As a full in-house EPC, we can diagnose and service equipment we didn't specify. We inspect, explain findings, then give options.
Every system includes production and consumption monitoring with performance alerts. Optional annual O&M plans cover inspection, cleaning, and inverter/battery diagnostics. 10-year workmanship warranty; component warranties typically 15–25 years.
Yes — it's how we started. NATiVE began in 2007 building zero-energy custom homes. We coordinate conduit and electrical rough-in during construction, integrate arrays with the roof design rather than retrofitting, and work directly with your GC.
We start with your actual usage data, not a rule of thumb — consumption history, load profile, and owner reqs which circuits must stay live in an outage. We size to critical loads, or whole property reqs. Duration varies by design.

Great Listening and Outstanding Implementation

Native, Inc. did a GREAT job of defining, designing, and implementing our PV solar solution. Kudos, especially, to our salesperson, Valerie Paxton, for her astute needs assessment for our home which took into consideration our personal goals, concerns, and the guidelines of our electric utility (PEC). The system has worked perfectly since day 1. Native's installation team took great care to accommodate several special requests and made multiple trips to our home to make sure our every last wish was granted. I cannot say enough good things about this experience and recommend Native, Inc. wholeheartedly.

Great business culture!!

Native has a great business culture! No matter who you work with at Native they all have the same friendly attitude to help and solve problems. Nothing goes perfect in any project, but Native was always on top of things to make sure they were delivering what was promised. There is a saying that goes like this-''What goes well ends well'' And we had a happy ending!!

Very pleased with overall install

Native installed my solar over a year ago and I was very pleased with them. My salesperson was Jay and he was very knowledgeable in presenting different options. Since the install, I have had mostly negative electric bills and now Austin Energy actually owes me money! I love it!!!

Right time. Right company

We had always planned to use alternative power at our home in the Texas Hill Country to reduce out "footprint", adding to our rainwater collection that also serves the whole house. And of course to reduce energy bills. We waited a few years to ensure that we had the best possible technology. We talked to some friends who had used Native/1Sun to plan and install their ground-based solar system, so contacted Jay at Native. From start to finish, their process was informative, clear, and professional. We are totally happy with our 40-panel ground-based installation, and are now depositing power onto the grid for the future! We have worked with many contractors in building houses, pools, irrigation, and home improvements over the years. We cannot recommend Native more highly!
