Restoring our antique windmill was the single most cosmetic repair we ever did for our farm property. When we bought our farm, only the tower remained and was wrapped in hanging electrical wires of a type not meant to be outside exposed to weather and a hideous light that ruined our night sky with its ghastly glow reminiscent of a prison. We finally found the head of our windmill buried under vegetation in a pasture which was completely unrestorable. That didn't stop Lotec. They located another head with all the blades, replaced some of the missing framing and built a new wood platform at the top of the tower. It doesn't pump water, but turns beautifully and completes the authentic appearance of our farm buildings.
