Peak Solar handled every aspect of our relationship in a highly capable and professional manner. They helped with the sizing. They handled all permitting with county and power company entities. They performed all the supplier and component selection. They completed the installation on time and in a high quality manner. Nothing was left to chance, everything was planned and executed flawlessly.

Peak Solar Designs was a pleasure to work with. Tim carefully educated us about photovoltaic systems, and designed a roof panel configuration that would give us the most energy for the buck. He never tried to "oversell" us. His team of installers was professional and competent - from the electrician to the panel installers. His employees took the time to "train" us in how to use the monitoring software and in some basic system operating info. Tim has been very responsive with post-install questions and issues - both of which were minor and in the end had nothing to do with the functioning of the system itself. I would not hesitate to recommend Peak Solar Designs; it is a top-notch company.

Peak Solar Designs recently finished our solar system installation and we are extremely satisfied with the company, the people, and the whole experience, including customer service in follow-up. Even with the lengthy process of obtaining Xcel approval (which Peak quite handily dealt with), the whole process, from our first questions to watching the system performance on the included app, has been highly responsive and professional. It took just over 2 months, in a very busy season to get the project done. Plus, the cost was very competitive and has come down a lot from when we first looked at solar about 4 years ago. We are super happy with our 7500 watt system from Peak Solar Designs. Every aspect of the installation (planning, communication, the installation itself) was great. This is our second residential photovoltaic system (we had one installed in our previous home) and Peak Solar far outperformed the solar contractor we had on the Colorado front range. When we selected our grid-tied system in 2011 there weren't many local installers to choose from. Yet Tim Klco and crew already had wide experience in grid-tied and off-grid as well as dealing with Xcel on their Solar Rewards, 20-year net metering and rebate program. Peak Solar designed, quoted and installed a great turnkey system (21 Schuco panels, Enphase mini inverters). Peak handled all the Xcel and City approvals making this one of the first on a downtown mixed use building in the Salida Historic District. In 2019, we asked Peak to upgrade our Enphase mini converters to the latest iQ Combiner series. This project involved complex coordination with a crew doing a membrane roof replacement - again, all completed flawlessly. Workmanship, cleanliness, attention to detail and mask-wearing all appreciated during the COVID-19 pandemic. Typically, when companies are successful and grow steadily, they often lose their original focus and one-on-one care for each customer. Not so with Peak. They've always been professional - from responsive service to accurate billing, all with a personal touch. We're fortunate to have such a great team, right here in town - if you're anywhere within 150 miles of Salida, I'd recommend Peak Solar.
