As an active solar electric contractor in the Pikes Peak Region since 1995, Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind, Inc. has 24 years of experience installing solar electric systems. Solar installations require careful attention to detail that only comes with experience like ours. One of our goals is to make sure that each of our flush, roof-mount solar arrays appears as a solitary flat plane, as though it were only one single pane of glass. Occasionally, our installations take a bit longer than some of our competitors - slightly increasing our labor costs - because we strive to put value in every facet of the job. That's why we include a 10-year workmanship warranty to protect against any damage or defects due to our quality craftsmanship.
RMSWI carries a wide range of solar electric panels with varying efficiencies and warranties. The most popular panel option is Panasonic Solar, which provides an industry-leading 25-year product warranty and a 90.76% production guarantee after 25 years, but several other panel options are available.
Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind, Inc. has 23 years of LOCAL solar electric experience with several different utilities and regional building departments.
Our vertically integrated sales/design associates handle your job personally, from the first phone call, to the site visit, to the permit engineering, to the meter swap when the system is turned on. You will always know who to call if you have any questions or concerns.
Our installation crews are paid hourly, whereas other installations crews are paid "per job". This means our crews are focused on quality, not quantity.
At Rocky Mountain Solar & Wind, Inc, solar installation typically begins in 4-6 weeks, not 4-6 months. Begin to capture your premium solar production now!
RMSWI has designed, installed and repaired solar heating systems since 1978, and solar electric systems since 1995. We install residential and commercial systems in the Colorado Springs, Pueblo, Denver, Fairplay and Canon City regions of Colorado.
Someone named Brendan came by my house (uninvited) when I wasn't home, then went to my neighbors house and told them to have me contact him because my solar system was not working (it was), that his company installed my system (they didn't), then went (uninvited) onto my property to check my panel electrical box.
These people are liars, scam artists and totally unprofessional. If you're choosing service or installation, for you own good, go to anyone BUT these people.
I adamantly deny any attempted scams! I am very proud of the service I provide! Following a lifelong passion for sustainability and environmental conservation, I graduated in December 2015 from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville with an engineering-based BS in Sustainable & Renewable Energy Systems emphasizing on management and development and a minor in Business Administration. I had an opportunity to travel to Costa Rica with Solar Energy International during school, sparking my commitment to solar energy. With more than three years of solar experience since graduation, I strive to provide my customers with a strong knowledge base when they are making their solar energy investments.
