Solar & Wind FX designs and install solar photovoltaic PV, solar water heating, and small wind energy systems for residential and commercial applications.

We are located on the outskirts of Rochester in the Western New York area known as the Finger Lakes, in the Town of Bristol. The president of the company has been involved with Renewable Energy {RE} for well over 19 years. He has been working as an Electrical Industrial Controls Engineer in the Rochester, Western New York area for over 28 years and broke out on his own back in 1997.

Over the years people have often asked us questions pertaining to RE and where one should go to see a functioning example. This was the driving force behind the reason to build a Green Building in Western NY. The RE Design and Training Center is operational and handicapped accessible. But the most important observation is the fact that Mother Nature herself powers the facility via the sun and wind. We have been producing 100% of our electricity needs since July of 2002. Eventually we plan to offer training classes for homeowners with little or no electrical or mechanical skills.

We service most of New York State, including the following counties: Monroe, Livingston, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates. We will, however, do work anywhere in the world depending on the circumstances. We also have clients in the Tug Hill and Adirondack areas. Most of these clients are Off-Grid.
