OMG STAY AWAY and read all the review from the Better Business Bureau

A friend of mine who I ballroom dance with is 61 years old and was laid off, couldn't find a job and was forced to take a job at Trinity Solar. OMG STOP BEWARE!!!! They promise for training to pay 1000.00 a week. If you get what they call 8 warm transfers. In that month. Well, My friend gets a warm transfers but loses because he couldn't connect with their system!!! Then because he hasn't yet gotten 8 warm transfers only 5!!!! HE IS NOT GETTING PAID ON THE 5 HE DID GET. THENNNNNN, he was threatened each week, if you do NOT get 2 warm transfers per week, you are getting fired! THENNNNNNN, they tell him he will not be getting 1000.00 a week, the pay at the beginning of the year, will be like 500.00 a week IF you perform. I told him if I was a homeowner and the weather was icy and really torrential rain or inches and inches of snow and someone knocked on my door, I WOULD NEVER EVER buy from an organization that disrespects their employees because they hire DESPERATE, in this case yes my friend was desperate, people who eventually quit. They make you come in to an office at 9:30 for a rah rah call an many times he was the only one there because people quit. THEN from 1:00pm to 7PM it is out in the field walking house to house. The threats are unbelievable!! What happened to "you got this" Keep trying" What about the manager (I'll call him, well....I can't say it here) going out in the field with these people!!!! When I was in sales, my boss always went out into the field with his TEAM! There was a millennial who worked at Trinity Solar and he threatened to quit and they said, "you are not quitting"! The millennial did what millennials do, told those people off and then went around to the people he gotten warm transfers from and told then NOT to buy from Trinity!!! I can't believe I took the time to write this long review but this company is the WORST!!! I mean Shysters! VERY SAD!!!

Run for your life!

Trinity’s calculations on my solar installation were way off, and they refuse to own up to it. I regret going with them. I have filed a complaint with the State of CT Consumer Protection Agency. If that does not bring a satisfactory result, legal action will be the next step. I am appalled at their lack of accountability.

Bad experience

Salesman came to my house. Was disrespectful to everyone, then tried to fight me in my garage when I told him to leave. I asked to see the contract and he denied me visualizing it. I told him I wouldn't sign without seeing a contract and he told me don't waste his time if I'm not going to sign. Now I get messages regularly asking to remove my review.

Don't believe everything you read

Btw, you don't have to believe me either. I have been a customer of Trinity Solar for 8 years now. The timeline to get installed is what it is. State, township and utility all has to approve before install can happen and is outside Trinity's control. Are people that complain so naive that they think Trinity doesn't want to get paid as fast as possible? It cracks me up that people don't know that Sunnova is who they are paying. We have to sign a Sunnova contract and call them. We are the ones signing it electronically and approve it verbally. My install was done by professionals who took time to explain things and system has been working great ever since saving me $$$ on high utility costs. Do yourself a favor and speak to a rep about concerns and get it in writing. You won't be disappointed with Trinity.

Trinity Solar's mission statement, "Energy with Integrity® since 1994", is a blatant oxymoron.

Trinity Solar's unprofessionalism and unethical conduct are blatantly apparent through their use of hostile rhetoric and combative tones, which violate fundamental principles of mutual respect in consumer relationships. The upper management personnel I worked with used language to harm, intimidate, mock, and, at times, humiliate me by "putting me in my place," which is verbal harassment. Trinity Solar has unilaterally modified the contract with Sunnova to deny legitimate claims and evade accountability, leaving customers in the lurch. This is illegal; it is a Federal Offense. Contact the Federal Trade Commission, State Attorney General, and BBB to report Trinity's behavior. It is important to note that the leasing terms for your solar system are quite extensive. This means that for a period of at least two decades, possibly longer, you will be required to engage with Trinity and Sunnova to fulfill your legal contract. It is crucial to avoid experiencing years of gross negligence every time you encounter an issue with your solar system. Sunnova Energy Corp lacks BBB accreditation and has received numerous complaints, leading to BBB alerts. Trinity Solar may soon be in a similar situation. I did not decide to install solar panels on our roof; the decision was made before I moved in. If I had been the one to make the decision, I would have done my research and read reviews from the Better Business Bureau and other sources online. Based on what I have learned, I would have declined the offer from Sunnova and Trinity and advised against it. I strongly recommend that you do the same.
