Davide Picard did a major remodel for me including a solar install. The remodel ended up costing 4 times the original estimate. He pulled all kinds of nasty tricks like bidding with a contractor fee of 15%, then charging me a contractor fee of 25%. In the beginning, he provided receipts, but as the project went on he became less and less communicative and refused to provide receipts. He threatened me if I wouldn't pay for work in full before it was finished. He billed me for services he did not provide such as batteries for the solar system, which were never installed. He threatened to send it to a collection agency if I didn't pay $4,800 for the batteries he never installed. He refused to answer my phone calls for the last year of the project, and rarely answered my emails. Once he had my money, he ignored me. A project originally estimated to take 6 months lasted almost 3 years due to his incompetence. He failed the city solar electrical inspection 7 times. I would give hime zero stars for value, service and responsiveness if I could. I believe he is the most dishonest person I have ever worked with.
