David Stapleton recognized the opportunity to exceed customer expectations when he committed to building high quality, energy efficient homes. In 1994 David Homes was formed, and Western New York was introduced to a new standard in home building. Family comfort, affordability, and environmental protection are just some of the innovations we introduced to the region. We are committed to building our homes to Energy Star standards, allowing our customers to realize significant annual savings.

We are one of a only a few builders in the Western New York area that ONLY builds Energy Star 3.0 rated and certified homes. We built our first Energy Star Home in 2000, and have built hundreds more since. We were also the first builder in the area to partner with NYSERDA.
