Save a Lot Solar

John and his team replaced the inverter on my 20 year old electric solar system and then a few months later took down and reinstalled my solar panels when I reroofed by house. They gave fair bids coordinated well with other contractors and completed the work on time for both jobs. A few problems came up along the but they were able to solve them in a timely fashion. I recommended Save a Lot Solar to a friend who had John design and install a new system on their house.

Trust A Lot would be a great name for this company. That is the experience we felt working with John. He was on time, responsive, informed, patient... he answered all the questions we had, big and small, with respect. We never felt he was trying to "sell" us something which was not our experience with other companies. Also, the installation went exactly as planned. In general, customer service feels like a dying art these days, but John brings it all back! A year later when we were having trouble reading the panels due to wifi issues, he quickly came over, suggested we get an extender and then WENT AND GOT IT FOR US, as well as helped install it. John really stands behind his work. And, after a full year of having our panels, the electric bill was only $3. We canʻt recommend Save a Lot Solar enough.

I really didn't expect much from a company whose name implies a bargain, but I was wrong. John Orfali and his employees were efficient, communicative and professional. I didn't want to see the panels from the street so he made sure that to use high efficiency panels only on one side of the house. They even adjusted them further so they didn't show at all. So far so good!

We wanted to go with a locally owned small business for our solar and it worked out great. The service was personal and hands on. We had a lot of questions and they were all answered. And now we're producing clean and green electricity for our house and new EV, which feels great.

from the estimate, to the actual installation, to the inspection and follow-up, the work was flawlessly easy and smooth. The cost was reasonable (as compared to other installers). They were considerate and through with the installation. The cherry on top was the inspection. I was out of town and the inspector needed to see a smoke alarm in a bedroom. John Orfali installed it and did not bill me. Since the original work, I had four more panels installed and have referred all my friends. The company has new fangled tech but old fashioned professionalism and integrity.
