Their quote was competitive and I love that they are a local Cape Cod company. The process was smooth from start to finish. Our point of contact person, Aron was professional, responsive, knowledgeable and organized. The team took care of all the permits required and the installation crew were fast and tidy. The best part is that our system is producing more energy than we need at a much lower cost than paying for power directly. If you're thinking about going solar, this is the company you want to work with. Highly recommend.

I had solar installed back in 2016 by my generation energy and even at that time, they were the most experienced and knowledgeable solar company around. I haven’t had an electric bill in 8 years but with my new EV, I’ll be sure to use MGE to install my add on system.

Fantastic all-around experience with My Generation Energy. 28 solar panel installation on the roof of my primary home is producing sufficient electricity to power this house and 2 rentals. MGE provided comprehensive service, including preliminary consultation, system design, production estimation, financial analysis, project loan assistance, panel and electric system installation, and post-install follow up. The MGE installation team was as neat, vigilant, and thorough as any contractor i have ever worked with, and technically executed a complex post & beam install to perfection. This project was a complete success, both environmentally (carbon offset to date equivalent to 1200 trees) and from a fiscal standpoint (free energy, tax credits, solar credit sale income, low interest loan, zero out-of-pocket, immediate positive cash flow, ROI). From our initial meeting through installation our experience with MGE could not have gone more smoothly. They were here when they said they would be and the work was completed professionally. We have not paid a bill since December of ‘21…who could ask for more? A local company and owner with an eye to keeping customers informed and happy.

I had an 36 panel system installed by Josh and the team at My Generation Energy in January 2024. I solicited solar quotes from two of the national companies and another local company. The other companies were trying to shoehorn me into a 19-22 panel system rather than allowing me to go larger. Josh’s MGE quote wasn’t the least expensive, but hands down the most comprehensive with superior equipment and the excess capacity I was looking for to support future electric vehicles. I purchased a Tesla a couple months after the install and still have plenty of surplus electricity. The timeline for my install was ridiculously fast, from contract to approvals to install to active was seven weeks. The install team was a well oiled machine, you could tell that the install team and electricians are extremely familiar with the installs. Their work is very well done and they tied everything into my standby generator without issue. Josh and another MGE employee met the town inspector a week after install, everything went smoothly. Eversource installed the net meter less than a week later. I’ve had the system online for over four month and the production is great. I’m building a significant utility credit for future use supporting another property. I recommend Josh and the team at My Generation Energy whenever the topic of solar comes up.
