Pacific Electric Solar

We are very happy that we signed up for solar energy rebates through Pacific Electric Solar . We are saving some money without much effort on our part.

We finally took the plunge and got under contract in time to stay under NM 2.0*. We had many companies quote us and do some initial surveying but they always backed out because of our Cal-Shake roof (despite us being VERY clear that our roof is usually a sticking point). Pacific was the only company who sent a roofer to our house to make sure they could do an install and not break too many tiles and also restore the tiles around the solar panels so the roof maintained its look. The project manager was very communicative about everything including finance options, schedule, etc. There was a long backlog of work (not the company's fault) so it took about 2-3 months to start the work, IIRC. The install was methodical and looks great. *Just a little rant. NM3.0 should never have happened, it's a roadblock to residential solar installs (really hurts ROI) which should be the backbone of California's solar industry.

Pacific Electric Solar was an absolute pleasure to work with from inception, to permission to operate. Jim was an absolute joy to plan and design my solar only system. His educational and evidence based approach to system design was easy and refreshing in achieving the system I need. James was a kind project leader, and the installers were courteous and took pride in the quality work they do.
