Drug out process, failed to meed their own deadlines, never completed install.

We selected them for our solar project (8kW + batteries) and the initial steps went well. As soon as we signed a contract, communication all but stopped, they became incredibly hard to get a hold of and they missed every single deadline. They also repeatedly failed to send the correct information to the building department for the permitting process. In the end, after 6 months of dragging it out, including missing the end of the federal tax credit, they failed to get the project even through permitting let alone installation. Per the building department, the project “has been abandoned by the contractor”; pretty much sums up the whole experience.

Equipment and Install tainted by an chaotic company

My small project has taken around 9 months to complete. Install took one day and the crew were excellent. However, about 20 subsequent visits were needed fix an extremely small permit issue (installing a bushing). I had to have friends and family sit around for entire days with no resolution. It was clear nobody at this company talks to one another. They sent crews without qualifications, the right materials, or who had no idea why they were showing up. I created cases that went without any updates for over a month. Accounting repeatedly forgot I had already paid 50% of the project and would then ghost me for weeks after I requested a **correct* invoice. I did receive a refund but this didn't cover with the time, burden, and frustration of the paperwork process. On several occasions Accounting requested I recite the entire install/problem history because apparently they don't save their own emails or work notes. The equipment is great but the company (except the install teams) is a circus.

Didn’t Deliver and No Refund

Blue Raven/Sunpower promised that they would install before the end of the year to get the tax credit and they couldn’t deliver. I requested a refund after canceling and they said that it would be issued within 10-15 business days. Months later and I still haven’t gotten my refund and they tell me to just call customer service. I’ve filed a dispute with my credit card company but buyer beware!

Great company to work with FABULOUS customer service

I chose Blue Raven for my solar system in large part due to Aaron Partridge. Aaron is customer focused and listens to what the customer wants. He was very responsive and walked me through the process step by step -- and hand-held when I needed it (which was more than once) Blue Raven handled the entire process -- from start to finish - but Aaron was the one that explained the process, followed up with me within 24 hours -- often less - if there was an issue or question. I highly recommend Blue Raven (now SunPower) as the company to use for solar. They are extremely professional, highly competent, and customer focused. I recommend Aaron highly. Anne
