Distributed Power

Team showed up on day one of 3 day installation with the wrong hardware and no electrician. Made immediate changes to planned installation and decided to hand the trenches and change the location of trenches to avoid having to call MISDIG. Day 2 and 3 of installation there were people showing up to work who didn't know who they worked for or where they were supposed to be doing. Had to add 2 panels to an unplanned portion of roof because they miscalculated the square footage or put the wrong panels on. They left 60 feet of trenches open for months for an "inspection" that never ended up happening. They forgot to file the Interconnection paperwork until I contacted Consumers Energy to see how much longer the trenches needed to be open. Less than a year after installation 14 of the panels stopped working. Distributed Power has not come to evaluate or repair them despite repeated attempts to contact them, a BBB Complaint and contact from the solar lender divide financial on our behalf. Highly unsatisfied.

Great customer service. Answered all our questions and trust me I had a lot! Sat down prior to committing and went thru all the detail on production and cost. I wanted the panels in the back of the house and they were able to work with us with the type of roof we had. The whole process was smooth and stress free. Installation was faster than I thought. Glad we choose them! Thank you for our beautiful panels!

Brandon and his team were get to work with. We had a little bit of an issue trying to get the permit in place, which delayed the installation of my system at my home, but Distributed Power kept at it and made sure we were top priority once the permit cleared and went through the changes that we needed to make to the layout to satisfy the city of Sterling Heights while addressing my concerning about those changes and the affects on the total output of the system. During the install, Brandon and his team were polite, friendly and very professional. All in all, Distributed Power was great to work with from start to finish and I would highly recommend them. They really try their best to make solar totally affordable and I'm looking forward to replacing my monthly electric bill from DTE with a monthly loan payment that'll help reduce our carbon footprint, produce a majority of our energy needs and also further improve my home's value.
