Baseline Solar Solutions

Have you ever tried to think of a way to lower your Electric Bill?? Well it's time to think Solar. If you live in Virginia then think Baseline Solar Solutions in Blacksburg, Virginia. (They also have an Office in Richmond ,Virginia) I am 77 years old, Retired and been trying to lower my electric bill my whole life. I have added insulation to my attic, Wrapped my Hot Water Heater and replaced all my Windows with Insulated Glass. None of these seemed to lower my electric bill very much if any. In December of 2019 I had Solar Solutions in Blacksburg to Install a 14kwp ground unit of solar panels. Now I can see a big difference in my electric bill. My Electric Bill Averaged $350 a month. Jan. 2020 it was $122 less, Feb. it was $168 less, March it was $204 less. April it was $228 less. May my bill was $9.02 for Tax and Delivery with a credit of 259 kwh. June my bill was $9.02 for tax and Delivery with 243 kwh credit. I think the next thee months will be better. Now how did I end up with Baseline Solar Solutions? I searched the Internet for companies that installed Solar systems in the New River Valley. I got two bids from this. While searching, this company called Energy Sage kept popping up wanting to help me find a company to Install the Solar System , also help me decide what type system I needed and if I was getting a good deal. I called them and was very surprised to find out that they are out there just to help people with their Solar needs. They sent my information out to their contacts and I got two bids. One from Texas that was outrages and one from a company in Fall Church, Va. They were real close to the bids I was getting from local contractors. I talked in depth to three of these contractors and decided to go with Baseline Solar Solutions. Their bid was a little higher than the others, but they do all the work themselves, everything they told me about what I needed checked out with Energy Sage and most important for me, they were close to where I live in Dublin, Va and if something went wrong, I wouldn't have to wait to get it fixed. Solar Solutions have been in business over 10 years. You want find a more knowledgeable, honest and polite group of workers. They tell you exactly what they are going to be doing, when they are going to do it and they show up on time to get it done. Another thing that's most impressive is they clean up anything laying around before they leave every day. As you can tell I am very impressed with the Solar System that Solar Solutions designed and installed for me. Baseline Solar was our go-to choice when we decided to add solar panels to our house and garage.. Patrick and his crew worked up quotes for both separately that included cost, how much energy we would produce, and how that translated to our electric costs. When I looked for a solar solution I wanted a local company and one that I knew I could trust. I checked with people who had a system installed near me and everyone highly recommended these folks. They came by quickly to assess my location and I was so impressed by the honesty. The price was not the lowest provided to me, but once I really dug into the numbers of what Baseline was provided vs competitors, I found they only looked higher because they did not have any hidden fees or missing elements that would be added on later. Installation was fast, professional and completely painless. I have a big system and, true to expectations, I have not paid for electricity (other than an electric company mandated connection charge of $9/month) since the spring of my hookup. In addition, Baseline helped me with understanding the tax credits, which saved me 1/3 of the overall cost! I am thrilled with my system and one day I hope to go back to Baseline for a full battery backup. I cannot say enough good things about the company. One of my friends is getting a system installed today in fact, based in part on my recommendation.

Patrick and the entire crew were great to work with. Patrick was able to answer my many questions and guide me through the process and assisted with a funding source. With my questions answered, I opted to have solar panels installed on two buildings. The installation crews were professional and very knowledgeable. The only con I can think of is that I did not meet Baseline Solar earlier!
