4th Day Energy

The installed my system in 2016. Great work, very timely and I’m still satisfied with the panel install. However, I had them install bird wire about 6 months afterward and this install is useless. $500 for bird wire that has gaping holes because I have Spanish tile. They did nothing to account for this and it’s worthless. So now I have to pay twice that to have the mess cleaned up and the panels properly bird proofed. I called, explained everything I was told they would talk to the guys. No communication about it again. Yeah, it’s been just over 5 years but it irks me so bad I had to say something.

Servando coordinated our sale. He helped us plan throughout the first year of living in our new house to buy a sufficient system. He's a really great guy--he even pointed us to the best loan option. He has personal experience that is aptly referenced in the planning and buying process. He would drive over to meet with us whenever we had questions--at least respond promptly if we sent a text message or left a voice message. Everything happened faster than projected. I think PG&E had even hooked us up by day 40. 4th Day took care of everything except the loan (which we pursued elsewhere because of our own volition). The install guys were at our house one minute before scheduled--which was impressive--and they were polite and friendly. They cleaned up after themselves and did troubleshooting without worrying us. We had 30 panels installed along with an antenna to transmit production information. Servando was very professional about indicating when final payment was due and configuring our access to the web app for monitoring solar power production. When I left a message with the company generally indicating that I had a question about my production, they responded sounding defensive--but they did respond promptly.

When we met with Joel & Eric, it was a relaxed, informative and helpful session to point us towards 4th Day Energy. They explained everything very well and were very patient with all of our questions, and if they were unsure about something, they made sure to clarify things before moving forward or just giving any answer. It's been about 6 months since our install and our PG&E True up so far is approximately $10! Thank you
