Panoramic Electric was founded by Mike and Terri Schmerl in 1994. After 15 years of running the business, Mike left for the east coast to start a renewable energy firm in 2009. A longtime employee, Craig Whitney, bought the company when Mike left. In 2015, Mike returned to northern Michigan and rejoined Panoramic Electric. Today, Mike and Craig work together to operate the top choice for an electrical company in northern Michigan.
