When we were considering solar, we got 8 different estimates, and many were close in cost. The huge difference with Key Solar Solutions was their reputation for excellent customer service and this was demonstrated early on by how quickly they responded to any question or concern we had. There are a lot of businesses that could learn a thing or two from this team and what excellent service means. They usually respond to our email or call within an hour or two. Try that with any of the huge, multi-state contractors… You will be lucky to hear from them within a month or two.. Our salesperson (Jesse Carl) took the time to answer any and all questions we had. He was very patient, very informative and his presentation was excellent. Once we signed on, the Office Manager (Nicole Runde) was always in touch with us and kept us informed throughout the entire process. When we had any questions or concerns, we would send her an email and often within minutes to an hour, she would reply. We chose a ground-mount array, which takes considerably more preparation and work. The installation crew arrived at our property as scheduled and went straight to work. They were professional, polite and worked tirelessly during the installation and completed it on time. The owner of Key Solar Solutions (Jesse Pilcher) would regularly stop at our job site throughout the process and always took the time to explain everything that was going on and what to expect. He is an easy-going type person who is honest and believes in treating the customers with the respect they deserve. He is super nice to work with as well as his entire team, who made this experience very user friendly. After the installation was complete, and turned on, it performed exactly as they described, if not a little better. We couldn’t be happier with this investment and Key Solar Solutions. Shortly after our job was completed, we had a few questions and concerns about the SRECs and a few other random questions. One quick email to Nicole at the office and all concerns were quickly addressed put to rest. For us, one of the biggest deciding factors why we chose Key Solar was based on all the excellent reviews concerning the excellent service they provide not only during the installation of the solar system, but the continued level of excellent service afterward and they have certainly lived up to their reputation. If we have any questions, they are always there and address them quickly. As far as choosing the right solar contractor, we know we got it right. No buyer’s remorse here!! If you are looking into Solar, and you want an honest estimate with no surprises and excellent customer service, do yourself a favor and talk to this team. You cant go wrong…

Key Solar has good marketing skills to onboard new customers but awful customer support when your system develops a technical issue. My system has been down for over a month and Key Solar has not demonstrated sense of urgency to come fix it. All the money I saved from going solar has been lost to paying ridiculously high bills when the system went down and they haven't come to fix it despite my incessant emails and calls to them. They only give you excuses of bigger new clients they need to onboard and ignored me an existing customer for flimsy excuses of being short staffed. Stay away from this company!!!
