I actuall would rate Oak Electric 10+ if I could. I had a solar system installed. My situation might have been a rare case where majority of the panels are on the garage so that the PVC pipe that has electric cables in goes in the ground across the yard to the house. City Inspector who was not solar knowledgeable gave them a hard time who tested the crew and my patience because he had to see the pipe covered with dirty due to revised city codes/ordinance. Despite his numerous unreasonable requests, the crew responded in responsible fashion. It took a while because of that, though my solar system is now up and running ready to be monitored. Thank you Jason and his crew for a wonder work and service. I highly recommend Oak Electric, an established compay, for a solar system. I'm speaking from my experience as their customer.

Jeremy Zinn came out in 2009 looked over DTE bills n gave us a quote to eliminate our Edison bill. We bought solar array that is in our backyard on 3 acres. Back then, Uncle Sam paid 1/3 DTE paid 1/3 & we paid 1/3 n wrote it off over I think it was 3 yrs on income tax. We went years without DTE bills n received refunds at year end from DTE. Until recently in 2024 when DTE increased rates. Now Our when we do get one is generally $20 -50. In addition we own 2 electric vehicles. Jeremy knows in & outs of solar credits & he handled permits etc with DTE we just signed papers. I recommend oak electric & we will have them back in the future. Sharon F St Clair twp., MI 48079

Jeremy, (sales/project manager) was very thorough and professional in his explanation of my solar project. That includes how the system works incentives and cost, and what my benefits would be. he walked me through what rebates and government tax incentives that may be available, and I have benefited from that. The electrician, (Josh) and the other electricians all did an excellent job and answered any questions that I had. The team helped me navigate the Tesla app and get me comfortable in viewing my system. I would recommend Oak Electric to anybody interested in electrical work and or Solar.

Oak Electric installed SunPower solar panels and batteries on two occasions. Oak is very professional, experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. They are not a "low cost" option, but provide a very high quality installation. Jeremy Zinn, the sales rep I worked with is extremely knowledgeable about solar and has been very responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that I did not receive much documentation or training regarding my solar system following the install. Oak is very responsive to phone calls and SunPower (equipment manufacturer) does an ok job responding.
