Nationwide Sun

I needed to have my solar inverter replaced and I had contacted several companies for estimates. When I contacted Nationwide Sun they had a technician come to my house to evaluate my solar system at no charge. After the technician left I was contacted the next day with a solution for my concerns. I had read other reviews and they are spot on. I had the repairs done done in a timely fashion at the price I was quoted. They have a great team. I am a retired Porsche Premier Technician where excellence is expected. They earned my recommendation!

Someone once told me, when making big investments in your home, it's not just the cost, but who is doing the work. That has been proven to be true many times over, and yet that is only part of the reason why I chose Nationwide Sun for investing in roof and solar for my home. You will not find better people. Not once did I talk to a sales person, because they do not have them. I talked to experts in various areas of the project, as well as the president of the company, who came to my home personally multiple times. I do a lot of research and I ask a lot of questions. This company has one of the longest records of any, and the record is spotless in almost 20 years of business, not a hint of a complaint. They use top quality components and materials. They told me that they would not be the lowest cost option, but they beat the quotes from companies that use the same level of components. They offer the longest and best warranty, and they stand behind it. During the early phase of my project, one of their clients had tree limb crash through their roof during heavy storms and they jumped into action, on a weekend, to remove the branch and patch the roof until they could repair it permanently after the storm passed. No hidden charges, if something goes wrong, they will come and address it. That is who I want doing the work on my home. Good people, doing good work. Supportive with great, responsive communication. This company is diversified and will be around for many years to come (unlike many solar companies who folded this past year). They did great work at a great price, and they will be there if I need any assistance. That is why I chose Nationwide Sun and why I recommend them.

I am very happy with Nation wide. I was exploring various vendors and they were quick to respond. They elucidated me the steps in the entire process. They gave the best pricing as well. Once I was in contract, they updated me on every step. They did good job in installation, aiming for better exposure to Sun. They made sure the city inspection smooth. From the Owner of the company to the installers to the schedulers, Nationwide is hands down the best vendor I've ever used. They even sat around in their cars on the street waiting for PGE inspectors to come for PTO to ensure there were no issues...packing a brown bag lunch knowing they could be there for hours. This sounds like a trivial "impressed moment" but that is the level of detail that Frank and his team spend time on. The best part is they don't sub out any work, so they OWN everything they do and stand behind it. I have 20 other examples of little things that would have gone wrong with another outfit, but Nationwide makes EVERYTHING easy and reliable. We had them do other things outside of just solar installation and they always do right by us, from quality to pricing. No need to consider ANYONE else.

I chose Nationwide Sun after comparing several contractors with the help of energysage. I wanted a company that was local and experienced. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Everyone I dealt with was professional and knowledgeable, from the design team to the installers.
