There is not another group of folks I would trust to do our solar project. Part of the reason we installed solar is because we have known these guys for 20+ years and know their character and passion for the work they do...it's more than just a business. I am very detail oriented and have high communication expectations, and the team at Ovanova is just the same. They are the kind of contractors you want working on your property. They treat it like it's their own and that is VERY hard to find these days. They are honest, do what they say they will do and do all of it with fantastic attitudes (even when the odds are stacked against them...they don't give up). We have recommended them to many of our friends and family and will continue to do so for years to come!!!

Are you thinking of going solar? If so you should definitely talk to Lester, Chris, or John at Ovanova. I had many questions and it took a few virtual meetings for me to go for it. My 42 panel project and stack of 6 batteries were installed recently and I’ve enjoyed learning about this system and all it can do. I also feel blessed to have invested in owning the energy my family uses rather than leasing it. Also with any rolling blackouts that may come I’ll experience just a flicker rather than any time In the dark. The final results on my roof and garage look fantastic as Roni (the local Master electrician, and Solar guru) really knows his stuff and is passionate about installing everything correctly. It was a pleasure to have him around during construction. He lead his team well and I know the products are in the right place and ready to do work. I started working with John and Lester after meeting them through a fundraising project with my brother’s orchestra class. Our solar panel installation took a long time, but John and Lester worked with us every step of the way. While the contractors they picked for our installation were frustrating to work with, the guys at Ovanova did everything they could to make the process as painless as possible. I would absolutely recommend Ovanova for anyone looking to install solar panels! They got us a fair price and bent over backwards for us with customer service.

The team at Ovanova was a pleasure to work with from the initial design through to the commissioning of the new system. We conducted a series of conference calls to design a solar implementation that fully meets our needs. We were interested in a system with battery backup that would take us off the grid, weather permitting, and provide backup power in the event of a grid outage. They patiently answered our questions and quickly researched any questions for which they did not have an immediate answer. They took the time to understand our currently electrical layout and provided a detailed engineering design document that met our design requirements. Costs and billing were clearly documented and the transactions were quick and easy. The installation process was also as painless as possible. The Ovanova team arrived on time, worked hard in difficult conditions, and left our home site clean at the end of each day. The worked diligently with the county inspectors to resolve any issues promptly. Ovanova handled most of the communications with our power company, so commissioning of the final product was quick and easy. The engineering representative from our power company stated that ours was the cleanest and most professional installation that he had ever seen. Evidently, there are some less that reputable companies in the home solar business, but Ovanova is not one of them. I would highly recommend Ovanova to anyone considering a move to solar energy for their home.

Ovanova was a great choice for our house. We live out in the country and the idea of lowering our electric bill as well as having some energy independence in case of a power outage was appealing to us. Their customer service has been great in three major ways. Initially, they did a thorough job walking us through our options and explaining the pros/cons of different solar set ups (size and type based on our current usage and future goals). We know several people who have gotten solar assuming that it would lower their bill and give them power during an outage, only to find out that they don't have power during an outage because they didn't have a battery. Second, during the process of getting our system installed, several unforeseen issues/complications arose but they did a great job of solving the issues and more importantly making them right, no questions asked. Third, we have been impressed by the reliable customer service and client education offered during and after solar system installation. On numerous occasions, Ovanova staff have taken the time and effort to make videos walking us through how to use and/or understand the technology. They also regularly monitor how our system is performing and give us recommendations on how we might further lower our electric bill. Their price was incredibly competitive in regards to the panels and much lower for the quality of equipment when it came to the inverter and battery stack. Highly recommend.
