Modern Horizons is located in Sunset and currently serving the state of South Carolina.
What we do: We're your friendly neighborhood experts for solar, battery backup systems, and EV charging stations. We are hands on every step of the way and provide excellent service to residential and commercial customers.

We LOVE what we do and we love to talk about it and educate our customers on the best practices. We create custom systems that are based on individual needs and we'll not only handle all aspects but also explain why what we're doing makes sense for you!

Who we are: We are proud to be woman owned by Kali Rivers. Modern Horizons is also a family business, as her brother Jami is our CFO and Renewables Manager. Jami has over 10 years experience in solar and Tanner, our COO, has been working with Jami for 8 years.

Amazing service

Amazing service!!!! Came out and replace my inverter after having some trouble with the company that had installed my system. Really made me feel good about my repair. Amazing people and great service!!!!! Wish I would have used them to install my system from the start. Thank you so much for GREAT customer service!!!!

The folks at Modern Horizons have helped me immensely!

If you are like me, and this is not your first rodeo, then it's possible, (like me) that your original solar purchase was installed by the rodeo clown. Modern Horizons' techs fixed several installation mistakes made by another company that is now out of business. I understand that this technology is rather new and even manufacturers make mistakes. This is why I have trust in Modern Horizons. I can tell they have an enormous amount of experience going through and fixing other people's mistakes. They have their ears to the pulse of the Solar Industry and they are testing and sometimes recommending amazing new products that save time and money and increase understanding and reliability. Modern Horizons is the go-to company for off-grid installations. They have repaired my two Sonnen backup units and are experienced in providing solar and backup energy source solutions which match your needs whether you are on the grid or not. Highly Recommended!

Best Experience Ever
